Under the direction of Police Commissioner Rajendra Kumar Verma, a United Environmental Colorado program was organized on Sunday at the Datuni American Range. The program was graced by the presence of environmental and bird expert Genie Duj. Also present were Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) P. N. Mishra, DFO Pipri Mishra, newly appointed DFO Lal Sudhakar from the Forest Department, Deputy Police Superintendent Anil Kumar Verma from the Police Training College Mitra, Deputy Police Superintendent Neeti Rajesh Dandotiya from RPTC Indore, the Green Army of Dewas, the Green Team of PTC Indore, naval cadets of the 78th batch, officers and employees of the Forest and Police Departments, and a large number of local villagers. The program aimed to significantly improve approximately 82 acres of land at the Datuni Laser Range by planting medicinal, fruit-bearing, and shade trees. A conference was held to discuss environmental protection, tree plantation, and long-term conservation. In his address, Police Superintendent Rajendra Kumar Verma assured the Forest Department and all environmental enthusiasts of full cooperation from PTC Indore. All participants collectively resolved to develop the Datuni Rifle Range into a green and environmentally educational area.
